Pamela Romero Villela
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Born and raised in Honduras, Pamela volunteered helping low-income children struggling with drug addiction. This sparked her interest in further understanding the root causes of addiction, which led her to study neuroscience and behavioral biology at Emory University. Pamela recently graduated with her PhD in statistical and psychiatric genetics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, she is interested in studying the biological and social determinants of opioid addiction.
